James for Carpets advertises at all the key sports grounds in Horsham and we deeply enjoy following and supporting our local squads. We decided to sponsor the Roffey Robins U12’s as their love of the game was a passion that we recognised in ourselves
The teams started out as a single squad created during lockdown and having to manage with online training sessions, which were a lot of fun. The manager found that there was quite a range of abilities and thought it would be better to ensure players were playing at the level that suited them. So it was decided to divide the players and enter them in to the appropriate Divisions. This has been a great success and all players have improved as a result.
James for Carpets now sponsors both Roffey Robins United and Roffey Robins Athletic. Click on the link if you want to keep up to date with the league standings. Athletic are consistently top of their league. Here’s the latest team photo but not all players pictured. They are a great bunch of kids that love playing football, have very adult attitudes and their respective managers are very proud of what they achieve and love every minute of every game.
Having finished a gruelling season as Champions of Div 1 of the South Surrey Youth Football League in 2023 it culminated in a Portsmouth FC scout coming to watch the team. He had nothing but praise for how the team play football and added that the last game of the season was the best game he had seen; a real credit to both our beloved Roffey Robins and their opponents GPR Youth Monarchs.

Customer service is at the heart of what we do…
- Move any large and heavy items of furniture from each room requiring fitting.
- Cut and lay the underlay, gripper rods and flooring, keeping the existing underlay and rods where possible (James will discuss this with you during his initial visit).
- Trim the bottom of doors (where necessary) to ensure they move with ease.*
- Remove old flooring* (this can be arranged prior to the fitting itself).*
- Remove all rubbish and vacuum each room, ensuring all affected areas are left clean and tidy.
*These items, if required are chargeable.
